Nicolas Jackson has revealed that he sought advice from an ex-Liverpool star prior to joining Bayern Munich.
Following a hugely eventful transfer saga, Jackson joined Bayern for a loan fee of £14.2million with the German club having an obligation to sign the striker permanently for £56.2million if he makes a certain amount of appearances.
Chelsea attempted to cancel Jackson's move after Liam Delap suffered an injury but the Senegal striker and his agent refused to return to London and the deal eventually went ahead.
Ahead of the move Jackson sought the advice of his Senegal team-mate Sadio Mane, who played for Bayern in the 2022-23 season.
