Former Liverpool hard-man Neil 'Razor' Ruddock has revealed how he used to get Eric Cantona so riled up that the Frenchman left the field desperate to fight him after every match.
Ruddock has been recapping his Liverpool career this week, and musing over memories of his biggest matches in the famous red shirt against arch rivals Manchester United.
Such fixtures always pitted Ruddock against the formidable Cantona, United's notorious hot-head with exquisite footballing abilities.
Ruddock says he did not need to rely on tough tackling, however, but merely needed to adjust the popped collar of the France star to get his pulse raising and the fists clenched.
