Mauricio Pochettino claims Chelsea 'are IMPROVING' and explains why their consistency has been hampered... as the Blues boss also insists Nicolas Jackson can thrive on the wing after Aston Villa win

Mauricio Pochettino has admitted it's difficult to find consistency with Chelsea this season because of 'the circumstances' they have had to endure this season.

The Blues stunned Aston Villa on Wednesday evening to qualify for the fifth round of the FA Cup with a 3-1 victory at Villa Park that saw Conor Gallagher, Jackson Martinez and Enzo Fernandez get on the scoresheet.

Victory eased some of the pressure on Pochettino that has built during their recent Premier League thrashings by Liverpool and Wolves, and a win over Crystal Palace on Monday would show some of the consistency craved by Chelsea supporters.
