Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa has called on the Football Association for guidance on why it upheld Pascal Struijk's dismissal in last Sunday's home defeat by Liverpool.
Struijk was shown a straight red card for his challenge on Harvey Elliott, which left the Liverpool teenager with a fracture dislocation of his left ankle.
Leeds lost their appeal against Struijk's three-game ban, while many observers, including Elliott himself, felt the defender's tackle did not warrant a red card and that the injury had been a freak occurrence.
Elliott posted on Instagram after reading the news that Struijk's ban had been upheld: 'Sorry to hear about this Pascal.
