Manchester United are reportedly the favourites to sign Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Denis Zakaria.
Zakaria has been one of the standout stars of the Bundesliga season as Gladbach have mounted a surprise push for the title.
Sky Germany has reported that United are leading a queue of clubs, including Liverpool, Atletico Madrid and Borussia Dortmund, for the 23-year old's signature.
United bolstered their midfield with the signing of Bruno Fernandes in January, but are keen to find a defensive foil for the Portugal international.
