Luis Suarez misses dreadful penalty in Gremio’s win over Ferroviaria - and his follow-up effort from the keeper's save is even worse! But the former Liverpool striker does get on the scoresheet in the end during 3-0 Copa do Brasil victory

Luis Suarez missed a penalty for Gremio in their 3-0 win over Ferroviaria last night, then fluffed the follow-up with an unfortunate miss-kick for the Brazilian side.

It was goalless in the Copa do Brasil second round match, when Gremio were awarded a penalty after Vinicius was penalised for a handball in the box.

Up stepped veteran striker Suarez to put his side into the lead, however, the low shot to the right of the goal was saved by the Ferroviaria goalkeeper.

The ball then rebounded back into the path of the former Liverpool player, with an expectant crowd expecting to see the net bulge and for Suarez to open the scoring for the home side.
