Local Anfield families attend 'Eat Well, Spend Less' cookery class

Local families attended the launch of a new cookery course run by the Trussell Trust and Red Neighbours on Tuesday.

Red Neighbours has teamed up with the national charity, which aims to end hunger and poverty in the UK, to deliver a series of cookery classes for local families in Anfield.

The 'Eat Well, Spend Less' campaign shows families how to prepare nutritious meals on a budget and provides the skills and ideas to replicate healthy recipes together at home.

The Trussell Trust facilitates a network of foodbanks across the country. At every Liverpool home game, North Liverpool Foodbank has a van at Anfield where both home and away fans are invited to make donations of food and household items.
