Liverpool's teenage left back Owen Beck 'is a loan target for Portuguese side Famalicao' as he searches for first-team football away from Anfield with Andy Robertson and Kostas Tsimikas ahead of him in the pecking order

Liverpool youngster Owen Beck is a target for Portuguese side Famalicao.

The left-back, 19, is highly rated by the Reds and several members of the hierarchy at Liverpool see him at a future starter for the six-time European champions.

But he is not ready yet, and, according to The Sun, Famalicao could beat 'several League One clubs' to the loan signing of the Wales youth international.

The chance to play abroad is seen as a positive for Beck, who, after 20 Premier League 2 appearances last season, is now seeking first team football with four years left on his current contract at Anfield.
