Liverpool's reported pursuit of Brazilian midfielder Andre has been halted by Fluminense's unwillingness to let the player move, according to reports.
The Reds have already strengthened their midfield through the summer acquisitions of Alexis Mac Allister, Dominik Szoboszlai and most recently Wataru Endo.
Jurgen Klopp is keen to bring in further midfield reinforcements during the summer transfer window and could launch a bid for Andre as another engine-room addition.
However, the 22-year-old will not be allowed to leave South America with the club still competing and hoping to win the Conmebol Libertadores title, as reported by Brazilian outlet GE.
