Liverpool's Jurgen Klopp and Jordan Henderson laid floral tributes at the Hillsborough Memorial to mark the anniversary of the tragedy.

Saturday marked the 34th anniversary of the disaster which claimed the lives of 97 Reds supporters.

In a moving gesture, the club's manager and captain came together to pay their respects to those who died, and the thousands affected by the aftermath to Britain's deadliest sporting tragedy in 1989.

In a separate tribute on Saturday morning, Paul McHugh, assistant manager of the Liverpool Women's team, and captain Niamh Fahey, laid a wreath to those lost at Hillsborough.
