Liverpool target Ryan Gravenberch hints at Bayern Munich exit, with the midfielder admitting he expected 'to play more' for the German champions

Liverpool target Ryan Gravenberch has admitted he may be forced to leave Bayern Munich in search of regular game time following a 'difficult' first season with the German champions.

The Dutch midfielder joined the Bundesliga giants in a £21million move from Ajax last summer.

Gravenberch had been hailed as 'one of the biggest talents in Europe' by Bayern sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic, after the the club fought off competition from Manchester United for his signature.

The 21-year-old made 33 appearances in all competitions in his debut season at Bayern, but only six came as starts.
