Liverpool are reportedly set to rival Manchester United for Lille midfielder Boubakary Soumare this summer.
United have been heavily linked with the 21-year-old but they may now face competition.
As reported by Le 10 Sport, Jurgen Klopp wants to sign the midfielder, who could cost £50million.
Soumare was the subject of interest from Newcastle in January but that move failed to materialise as he wants to play for a team that is higher in the league.
Real Madrid have also been linked with Soumare, who represents France at Under-21 level.
