Liverpool 'set to release Loris Karius in January' as club bid to bring disastrous spell to an end... with keeper not having played since THAT infamous Champions League night in Kiev

Loris Karius difficult time at Liverpool could reportedly come to an end soon as the club look set to let him leave for free in January.

The 28-year-old has not played a competitive game for the Reds in over three years and despite having a contract with the club until the end of the season, he could depart in the winter transfer window in an attempt to resurrect his career.

Karius joined from Mainz in 2016 for a reported fee of £5.5million but the German has failed to establish himself since that time.
