Liverpool remain confident of signing Ryan Gravenberch despite Bayern Munich's failed move for Fulham midfielder Joao Palhinha

Liverpool are confident Ryan Gravenberch’s £35million transfer will not be affected by Joao Palhinhas deal to Bayern Munich falling through.

The player’s agents Raiola believe all paperwork is in place and signed. Gravenberch is on course to be confirmed tonight.

The Holland international will become Liverpool's fourth summer signing after Dominik Szoboszlai, Alexis Mac Allister and Wataru Endo.

Bayern were hoping to fill the gap left by Gravenberch by signing Palhinha from Fulham but failed in their attempts as the German window shut.

The German club put in an initial offer of £47milliion, though this was subsequently rejected by the London club - who priced him at £90m initially.
