Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp returned to the club's training ground on Wednesday – and was greeted by balloons, beers and cake to celebrate his 50th birthday.
The German reached the landmark on June 16, while the club were away on their summer break.
But Klopp was given a pleasant surprise on his return to work ahead of the new season, after the club laid on a belated birthday celebration for their manager.
Klopp and his squad are preparing for a return to the Champions League but the German's preparations for the new season had to take a back seat on Wednesday.
