Liverpool 'join race to sign Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund' but face fierce competition to sign striker from Real Madrid and Barcelona as Bundesliga side's CEO admits it will be 'difficult' to keep hold of Norwegian

Liverpool have joined the queue of clubs lining up to sign Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland.

The Norwegian has picked up where he left off last season, scoring a remarkable 11 goals in his first seven games in all competitions.

The striker has been one of the hottest properties in European football since taking the Champions League by storm with RB Salzburg in 2019 before joining Dortmund.
