Liverpool remain in discussions with Bayer Leverkusen for Florian Wirtz but have yet to reach agreement on a potential British record transfer fee.
Liverpool have tabled a number of offers, the third of which was £100million plus a further £14m in add ons.
This was not formally rejected by Leverkusen, but talks have continued to find a resolution as they seek greater bonus payments beyond a guaranteed £100m for the 22-year old.
Talks were continuing as of Tuesday over the structure of a deal and agreement remained incomplete going into the evening.
