Liverpool hand 18-year-old Jones long-term deal

Liverpool have handed a new long-term contract to promising teenage midfielder Curtis Jones.

The 18-year-old signed his first professional deal with the club last February after making his Under-23s debut a month earlier.

Jones has featured in four senior matchday squads, including being named as a substitute in the Merseyside derby draw with Everton at Goodison Park in 2017-18.
