Liverpool goalkeeper Adrian ready to extend stay for another year as back-up to Alisson Becker despite interest from Real Betis with Caoimhin Kelleher set to go out on loan next season

Liverpool goalkeeper Adrian is close to agreeing terms on a contract extension at Anfield.

The 34-year old had interest from Real Betis in Spain while Liverpool had sounded out potential alternatives but he is now ready to commit to another season as understudy to Alisson Becker.

Adrian lost his place as Alisson's deputy when Jurgen Klopp handed 22-year-old Caoimhin Kelleher a run of games in December.
