The Reds centre-back started the 3-1 defeat to Real Madrid and produced a solid display, despite ending on the losing side in Kiev.
Croatian star Lovren had his family in the crowd supporting him and on Instagram has given fans a glimpse of just how passionate his father is.
In the video, shared on Monday morning, his dad is seen topless with his shirt above his head and singing proudly amongst other Reds fans in Ukraine.
