Liverpool FC Academy welcomes visit from Holocaust survivor

Members of the U14, U15, U16 and U18 squads heard Janine deliver a talk before she took questions from the youngsters at the Kirkby-based training complex and was presented with a shirt on behalf of the club.

LFC has been working with the Holocaust Educational Trust (HET) for many years and there is now extensive collaboration between the group and the Premier League, with Holocaust survivors speaking to clubs and academies across the country.

Karen Pollock MBE, chief executive of Holocaust Educational Trust, said: “It is heartening to see British football taking education about the Holocaust so seriously.
