Derby County have agreed a fee with Liverpool for defender Andre Wisdom which could rise up to £4.5million.
Liverpool rejected Derby's opening £1m but talks have continued and the Championship side have agreed to pay £2m now with more to come based on performances.
The 24-year-old has been on Liverpool's books since youth football days, after making the move to Merseyside from Bradford.
Under previous manager Brendan Rodgers Wisdom was given game time in the Reds first team, and looked poised to become a regular prospect.
