Jurgen Klopp believes Liverpool have the strength in depth to handle the demands of challenging in four competitions.
Liverpool will begin their Carabao Cup campaign at Leicester City on Tuesday night, with Klopp expected to give fringe players game time at the King Power Stadium.
The Reds reached the two-legged semifinals last season before losing to Southampton, and Klopp insists rotating his players does not mean he is not taking the tournament seriously.
"From today's perspective yes, we have the resources, but we will see how it is again in January," Klopp is reported as saying by the Liverpool Echo.
