Bayer Leverkusen have agreed to sign Liverpool defender Jarell Quansah for an initial fee of £30million plus £5million in add-ons.
The centre-back, who is currently with England at the Under-21 European Championship, is set to sign a contract with Leverkusen that will run until 2030.
With Quansah poised to depart, Liverpool will now focus on attempting to bring in a young centre-back.
In addition to their interest in Crystal Palace's Marc Guehi, Arne Slot's team are also looking to sign another player in that position.
