Jürgen Klopp declared himself satisfied with Liverpool’s latest pre-season workout as they defeated Blackpool 7-2 in a friendly at Anfield on Saturday afternoon.
The Reds fell two goals behind to the League One club as CJ Hamilton opened the scoring and Jerry Yates crashed home a penalty.
However, Joel Matip reduced the arrears before the break and Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino struck twice in quick succession after the restart.
Further goals followed from Harvey Elliott, Takumi Minamino, Divock Origi and Sepp van den Berg to give the final scoreline a comprehensive look.
