Staff from the club’s official charity were given a private tour of Home Base’s National Centre of Excellence in Charlestown.
LFC CEO Peter Moore, managing director and chief commercial officer Billy Hogan, and director of communications Susan Black also joined the visit to meet staff on site and see their fantastic facility.
Founded by the Red Sox Foundation and Massachusetts General Hospital in 2009, Home Base provides free clinical care and support to veterans of all eras, service members, military families, and families of the fallen.
Home Base is staffed by clinicians from Massachusetts General Hospital who are experienced in military culture and in caring for veterans and their families.
