LFC Foundation takes on Liverpool Cathedral abseil challenge

On Saturday July 31, a team of 20 abseilers, including 14 staff from LFC Foundation and six from the Institute of Directors and Northern Power Women, will be abseiling 150ft down one of the city's most iconic buildings in aid of the Owen McVeigh Foundation.

The Owen McVeigh Foundation was established in memory of 11-year-old Owen, who tragically passed away shortly after being diagnosed with leukaemia in December 2015. The Foundation creates life memories for children suffering from cancer and their families.

The funds raised from the abseil will be used by the charity to support group trips for children with cancer and their families.
