Liverpool FC's Red Neighbours team and LFC Foundation community representative Chris Kirkland have been assisting Homebaked, a bakery based in Anfield, with the delivery of food parcels to local families.
Over the past six weeks, 900 food parcels have been delivered to Anfield families in need of some extra help.
Every Monday, 150 food parcels were delivered, with each box providing a week's supply of food for a family of four. The food parcels also contain some of Homebaked's famous homemade pies and pastries for families to enjoy.
The club and its Red Neighbours team have a long-standing relationship with the community bakery, which plays an important role locally and supplies Anfield with a range of its artisan pies for its lounges on matchdays.
