LFC Academy sides make Remembrance trip to Berlin

Alongside the Premier League, the Reds visited the Berlin Wall before being educated on the Bundestag, Germany's federal parliament.

After participating in the Football and Friendship Cup against Hertha BSC, both sides then placed a wreath at the city's Lissenthal Cemetery.

Marc Bridge-Wilkinson and Jonathan Robinson's side were then introduced to Britain's Ambassador to Germany, Sir Sebastian Wood, before both teams attended the Bundestag Reception - with the Chancellor of Germany, Angela Merkel, and French President Emmanuel Macron among those present.

Following readings from both sets of players at the Bundestag Reception, each player was then presented with a Remembrance certificate as the outing drew to a close.
