Katie Taylor hustled to a unanimous decision victory over Firuza Sharipova in a scrappy but entertaining fight in Liverpool, retaining her undisputed lightweight titles with the win.
The 35-year-old claimed her third win of the year, having already seen off Natasha Jonas and Jennifer Han, with the judges awarding the Bray fighter the victory with scores of 98-92, 97-92 and 96-93.
The WBA, WBC, IBF, WBO and The Ring champion was some way off her dazzling best, but the victory takes her to 20-0 nonetheless, with a mouthwatering contest against Amanda Serrano set to be next.
