Jurrien Timber leaves door open for supposed suitors Manchester United and Liverpool to lure him from Ajax this summer as he admits he's 'not sure' if he'll stay with his boyhood club

Jurrien Timber has said his future at Ajax is uncertain, opening a window of opportunity for potential suitors Manchester United and Liverpool.

The 21-year-old Dutch defender rose through the youth ranks at Ajax to their senior team, but there has been long-term speculation that he might be leaving.

Two Premier League sides have been fighting to bring Timber to England for over a year, and the Utrecht-born player has been coy when asked about his future with his current club.

When asked by Dutch website Vandaag Inside, Timber replied: 'Will I stay with Ajax anyway?
