Jurgen Klopp 'knew Sadio Mane would push to quit Liverpool when he signed his new deal to stay'

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp reportedly knew Sadio Mane was pushing to leave Anfield when he signed his new contract in April.

The German extended his deal to stay in the dugout at Liverpool until 2026, with his previous contract running out in two years time.

Klopp reportedly knew he would have more influence in off-the-pitch affairs when he penned the new deal and was also aware of Mane's desire to leave Liverpool this summer, as has become apparent in the aftermath of Saturday's Champions League final loss.
