Jurgen Klopp has admitted he is hopeful Thiago Alcantara will be fit enough to feature in Liverpool's Champions League final against Real Madrid on Saturday.

The 31-year-old sustained an Achilles problem on the final day of the Premier League season when Liverpool beat Wolves 3-1 at Anfield.

There were concerns he would be ruled out of Saturday's fixture at the Stade de France but scans on Monday eased fears that he suffered significant damage.
