Jurgen Klopp insists Liverpool 'DON'T want more players' as he has complete faith in his current squad... adding it 'makes NO sense' to 'spend a lot of money' ahead of the new season

A bullish Jurgen Klopp has declared that Liverpool 'do not want more players' ahead of the start of the new season, saying it 'makes no sense' because he has faith in his current squad.

Liverpool have been notoriously quiet in their transfer dealings this summer, only bringing in centre-back Ibrahima Konate from RB Leipzig for £36million. Klopp has also lost first-team regular Georginio Wijnaldum to Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer in that time.

Klopp is also sweating on the ankle ligament injury sustained by Andy Robertson in the 1-1 friendly against Athletic Bilbao, which will see him sidelined for at least a few weeks.
