Former Germany goalkeeper Jens Lehmann has urged Jurgen Klopp to ignore calls to drop compatriot Loris Karius, and continue to show faith in the 'fantastic prospect.'
The Liverpool stopper has looked shaky since replacing Simon Mignolet as the Reds' No 1, and made a number of high-profile errors in recent weeks to cost his team.
But ex-Arsenal star Lehmann believes Klopp should stick to his guns and block out the supporters, former players and pundits backing Belgian Mignolet for a recall to the starting XI.

Lehmann has also defended the under-fire 23-year-old Karius by claiming that the transition from playing for Mainz in the Bundesliga to the Premier League is 'massive'.
