Jurgen Klopp confirms that Diogo Jota is in contention to make his return for Liverpool in the Merseyside derby after FOUR months out... but Thiago is the latest injury worry for the Reds after missing training

Jurgen Klopp has revealed mix news for Liverpool ahead of the Merseyside derby with Everton on Monday.

The Reds play their local rivals after a poor run of form, which led to players getting a two-day break following their 3-0 defeat to Wolves.

Diogo Jota, Virgil van Dijk, Roberto Firmino and Arthur all returned to training this week in a massive boost for the struggling Reds.

Ahead of Monday's clash at Anfield, Klopp has revealed that only Jota out of the four is currently in contention to make his return after four months out with a calf injury he suffered in a victory over a Man City.
