However, a Saudi storm has jeopardised their plans with Jordan Henderson completing his Al-Ettifaq medical and Al-Ittihad and Bayern Munich chasing Fabinho.
The turbulence has left the Merseysiders needing to line up first-team midfield options in the event of their departures and Klopp confimed the club are not done in the transfer market yet.
