Jamie Carragher slams Jordan Pickford for being in 'NO MAN'S LAND' for Mohamed Salah's 'fantastic' counter-attacking opener in Merseyside derby, while Gary Neville adds the England keeper's positioning was 'just bad'

Jamie Carragher has called out Jordan Pickford's positioning for Liverpool's opener in Monday's Merseyside derby.

After a stunning counter attack from Liverpool, Darwin Nunez crossed the ball into the box for Mohamed Salah, who comfortably knocked the ball past Pickford to put the home side 1-0 up.

Cody Gakpo made it 2-0 with his first goal since joining the Reds after half time.

The strike came moments after Everton almost took the lead in a similar manner to their winner against Arsenal last week, but they struggled to cope with Liverpool's break and were punished.
