Jamie Carragher has admitted that he is desperate to see Liverpool sign Jude Bellingham after the midfielder helped Borussia Dortmund to a 1-0 Champions League victory over Chelsea.
The plea to the England man came amid a light-hearted back-and-forth between Carragher and his CBS Sports colleague Nico Cantor, after the former Liverpool defender had tried to convince Cantor to propose to his girlfriend live on air during the coverage of yesterday's Champions League action - on Valentines Day.
Back on pitch side duty tonight, Cantor sought back-up from Bellingham during a post-match interview with the teenager, which led to the Dortmund player sending a message to Carragher to 'do better' and declaring 'he had Cantor's back'.
