'It's nonsense'! Marcus Rashford RUBBISHES claims Manchester United gave up during their 7-0 defeat to Liverpool on Sunday... as the forward insists 'everybody was just trying to get back in the game'

Marcus Rashford has insisted it is 'nonsense' to suggest Manchester United gave up during the second half of their 7-0 defeat to Liverpool.

Erik ten Hag's side were thrashed by their arch-rivals at Anfield on Sunday after conceding six second half goals.

This led to significant criticism from fans and pundits that United completely folded in the second half, something the England forward hit back at.

He said: 'We didn't give up, that's nonsense. Organisation was bad, yeah, that's why we conceded the goals.

'I believe everybody was trying to get back into the game that much we came away from the team's principles in and out of possession.
