Jürgen Klopp was pleased with the resilience his Liverpool side displayed in the 2-0 win over Internazionale in the first leg of the Champions League last-16 tie on Wednesday.
The Reds established a healthy advantage ahead of next month's return fixture, thanks to second-half goals from Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah at San Siro.
Firmino, who came off the bench after half-time, opened the scoring with a 75th-minute header, before his forward partner then doubled the lead with seven minutes left on the clock.
