This is due to Liverpool Lime Street undergoing major engineering work in order to deliver substantial improvements from 2019 as part of the Great North Rail Project.
Fans travelling to Anfield for the Manchester United game, and also to London for the Reds’ away fixture against Tottenham Hotspur, will be affected.
Fans who normally travel to Lime Street through St Helens:
- Until October 20, passengers will be able to travel into Liverpool between 6am and 8pm in the evening on a train service into platforms one and two at Lime Street.
