'I'm healthy! It feels unreal!': Former Leeds and Liverpool defender Dominic Matteo reveals he has been given the all-clear after recovering from brain tumour after six months of treatment

Dominic Matteo has revealed he has been given the all clear after being diagnosed with a brain tumour six months ago.

The 45-year-old former Liverpool, Leeds and Scotland defender was taken seriously ill in November and underwent surgery.

And having been given the good news, Matteo shared the update on his health with his followers on Twitter, thanking the staff at at Leeds General Infirmary and St James's Hospital for 'saving my life'.
