Phil Thompson believes former club Liverpool should re-sign 'creative genius' Philipe Coutinho in the summer transfer window.
The Brazilian left Anfield for Barcelona in January 2018 in a deal worth up to £142million, but has struggled to make an impact at the Nou Camp.
The midfielder has made 76 appearances in two-and-a-half seasons at Barca, providing 21 goals and 11 assists.
Bayern Munich reportedly paid £15m to sign Coutinho on loan this season, where the 27-year-old has produced nine goals and eight assists in 32 matches.
