Joe Gomez has vowed to come back 'better and stronger than ever' from his knee injury that could rule the Liverpool and England defender out for the rest of the season.
The 23-year-old picked up a serious injury this week while training on international duty with Gareth Southgate's Three Lions and is expected to miss most of Liverpool's Premier League title defence this term.
Gomez, who is also a doubt for next summer's European Championships with England, described the setback as gutting but will support his Liverpool team-mates in the long-run.
