Hull City boss Marco Silva urges his players to believe in survival: 'If I believe the first day, why I don't believe now?'

Marco Silva has urged Hull's players and fans to share his faith that they can retain their Premier League status after engineering their biggest result of the campaign.

The Portuguese head coach saw his remodelled side beat Liverpool 2-0 thanks to a debut goal from Alfred N'Diaye, who is on loan from Villarreal, and another from Oumar Niasse, who is rebuilding his confidence after a disastrous time at Everton.

Hull are now within a point of climbing out of the relegation zone and Silva said: 'When I come the atmosphere is not the best. The squad stay in the last position in the table.
