Hugo Ekitike says he is learning a lot from fellow striker Alexander Isak and the pair can play together as a £204million strike force if needed.
The France striker, who is the Reds’ top scorer this season with five goals in eight games, was signed a month before Isak’s record-breaking arrival as Arne Slot upgraded his strike options this summer.
And the big question around Anfield is whether the pair can play together or not, with Ekitike the best-performing new signing at Liverpool so far this season.
Speaking to the media for the first time since his £79m signing from Eintracht Frankfurt, Ekitike said: ‘We play in such a big club… I can’t see any big clubs playing with just one striker in the squad.
