Henderson insists he's READY to start last-16 clash with Germany

Jordan Henderson has told Gareth Southgate he is ready to start England’s crucial last 16 tie against Germany.

The Liverpool skipper came on at half-time during Tuesday’s 1-0 win over Czech Republic to play his first competitive football match since February 20.

Before having groin surgery, Henderson was set to be a starter for England during the tournament — but Declan Rice and Kalvin Phillips have made the two defensive midfield positions their own during the first three games.
