A former Liverpool forward has claimed that Sadio Mane will 'ruin the best two years of his life as a footballer' by signing for Bayern Munich.

The 30-year-old is set to depart Anfield and sign for the German champions, with the transfer nearing completion.

He is set to arrive in Germany for a medical on Tuesday, but, according to former Reds forward Dean Saunders, the move is 'not a challenge' for Mane.
