'He told me Real Madrid sent an offer – he discussed it with me': Former Egypt assistant manager claims Mohamed Salah was considering a move to Spain in 2018... but stayed at Liverpool because he was 'comfortable there'

Mohamed Salah rejected the chance to sign for Real Madrid in order to stay at Liverpool in 2018, according to former Egypt assistant manager Hany Ramzy.

The forward has been linked away from Anfield numerous times during his three-year stint at the club and was offered a route to Spain just two months before he 2018 Champions League final – where he would go on to suffer his infamous shoulder injury at the hands of Real skipper Sergio Ramos.

While Ramzy claims Real did indeed make a 'really good' offer, Salah instead decided against a move to the Bernabeu to remain with Liverpool.
